The Super Friends

What kind of superpowers do these super heroes have? Certainly they have some, but it's more about eccentric powers and ridiculous attributes. Their exagerated development can be confusing to us, as it has certainly confused them. They are superheroes with a low rank of action can act at book launchings, artistic encounters and other events. Born lazy, birthed by brutal effort, these superheroes do not pay homage to brute force, nor do electromagnetic pyrotechnics to us. They just give hope.
And - just as hope - they are a bit naive, and just as naivete, a bit ridiculous.

Karen Freedom Fighters

In the mountainous jungles of Eastern Burma, the Karen National Liberated Army (KNLA) fight for the survival of their people against Burma’s notorious military junta, the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC). Numbering around five thousand, the KNLA face a 400,000 strong enemy. The Karen are the largest of Burma’s ethnic minority hill tribes who are oppressed by the SPDC. The SPDC rules by force and has been described by the United Nations as one of the worst violators of human rights of our time.
