Lonely rider

This image shows how people do long journeys on public transport, reflecting solitude and contradiction at the same time.

up&down "la paz" in a Dodge 400

On the slopes of "la paz" the "dodge400" is a slow but efficient public transport, in a country like Bolivia where most people do not have a personal vehicle, these old buses are part of everyday major Bolivian city. today they are faced with the competition of Japanese small vans, smaller but faster ....

Floating Market - Vietnam

I did this sketch in Vietnam near the Mekong river. Here pirogue is the easiest way to move. Also there is an amazing maket on the river, where everyone moves, sells and buys by boat or pirogue for more drawings www.idrawaround.blogspot.com

Thirteen:Twenty Lacuna

I have a never ending love affair with the hustle and happenings of the city center, and an obsession over what happens when strangers are thrown together in close proximity. Once, while venturing through the city in search for faces and light, I came across this place in the Melbourne CBD. Light reaches it directly for only 20 minutes a day, around lunchtime, when people rush away from work to get sandwiches and coffees.

Transit

Transit documents people on journeys. While traveling, you hear laughter and bits of stories in amongst the monotonous sighing of the train or the mourning sound of an aching ship. Mostly, you hear silence. By fate, destiny or chance, strangers are thrown together for a short while, forced to share an intimate space. There is a quiet comfort in sitting back and watching the world fly by.

Autopia

Driving in Los Angeles is more than just a matter of transportation. It's a culture and a way of communicating to the world that you are alive and have success. For many people the car's become such an important part of their life, to be considered as a natural member of the family. Few cities can say that a large part of their design and identity are due to the highway network.
Los Angeles can.

Wings and haze

There we was, traveling to Bahia, to have the best carnival ever... Suddenly we was inside the haze. This is really common in plane travels, all aircraft structure shaking. Here, maybe a little bit afraid, i had my camera to register the empty gray outside. For sure was my best carnival, the sky was blue after this little cloud, all over the travel, all over the festival.
