There's nothing like a weekend getaway. Especially when it's the first weekend in October, and you are headed towards the cold sea with a handful of friends, all while living thousands of miles away from home. These friends are your family whilst living in a culture like none you've ever lived in before. We live in Seoul, Korea, and though we love the city, we try to venture to the country-side as often as possible, especially when the sea is near. For this Chuseok holiday, we ventured to Samcheok-by-the-Sea. The beach was ours. No one else was in sight.
