After the wave

Ecomind

In Tayrona National Natural Park, in Santa Marta, Colombia, the recycling culture and the enviroment conservation is part of the place. A natural reserve located in the Caribean ocean that mixes awesome beaches, clear rivers and bluest skies with cool people, deep vegetation and great energy. There you can find the highest snow mountain near to the ocean " La sierra nevada de Santa Marta". The reserve is home of the "Tayronas", the natives that have lived there for years. Smart and kind people with a vision beyond everything.

Graveyard Surfing

Snorkeling in Maui. Above a small secluded beach on Maui, there is a bluff with a Buddhist cemetery. Over the years erosion has slowly pulled the tombstones down the hillside and out to sea. Each day, swimmers, snorkelers and surfers retrieve the stones and pull them back to the beach.

Faroe Island: Landing in the North Atlantic

„Faroe Island: Landing in the North Atlantic“ Eighteen small spots on the map. Faroe Island. The islands are located in the North Atlantic, 500 kilometer far away from the next mainland. The isolated location in the high North has a formative influence on the life of the islanders. My work „Føroyar: Landing in the North Atlantic“ visualize the presence of the ocean and the the way the inhabitants adapt the conditions.
