Carlos Celdran for promoting Manila and fight for reproductive health righs

Carlos Celdran is not your ordinary tour guide. For several years, he promoted a campaign to change the image of Manila, not only among the foreign people but among Filippins themselves.
Also, the US educated 'street theater artist' is also one of the most vocal supporters of the Reproductive Health bill, a draft law that designed to stem the rising population of the Philippines.

Dancing in Yunnan

I firmly believe that we learn a lot about a culture by the way various dances are performed and experienced within it. I found and joined a group of chinese people in the old town of Lijiang in the Yunnan province in china, dancing in an empty bar in the middle of the afternoon. Though this is a short clip, this group danced these same steps to various tunes for an hour.

World's Cheapest Scuba Lessons

I took this picture on my first trip to the Honduran island Utila, at the time known for the cheapest place in the world to get your scuba diving license. It was scattered with locals whose original ancestors were British colonizers, Dutch Pirates, and Payan Indigenous peoples to name a few. Restaurants, cafes, and a woman making Baleadas at small kiosk lined the main street. By the time I made my way back to the island, 6 years later, it seemed that the Island had been re-colonized again by all of blond haired Europe and Australia.

It concentrates on the social interactions between group members and leaders, tourists and the landscape and reveal a new phenomenon that has already launched Europe.
