In two days, the 2nd of February in Montevideo , Uruguay, the celebration to the sea goddess Yemanja will take place.( from the imported afro american candomblé traditions, originally of the Yuruba religion) Born from the sea mousse , doughter of Oduduwa and Obatala and wife of Oxzalà , candomblé god of life and purity, Yemanja is the mother of all orishas gods and represents "the Great Mother" as in many other traditions. She wears a light blue dress, sea stones and shells.
