This is a cuban´s car "salad" : a russian Lada + a korean Daewoo Tico + some 50´s american Cadillacs. Due to lack of money and resources cubans are forced to use the most unsual vehicles. Whit a home made mechanics and a great innovative power, the cuban cars are a "must see" to believe. And keep rolling...

Coco Taxi

The low consumption "Coco Taxi" (coconut taxi) are very popular in La Habana,  where the price of gas is extremely high beacause of the trade embrago.

YOANIS SANCHEZ - Super heros in the Web

In February 2010, I met Yoanis Sanchez and other bloggers in Havana.
Trained as a philologist in Havana but denied a career in academia - her dissertation, entitled Dictatorships in Latin American Literature, was perceived as a veiled criticism of the Castro regime - Sánchez has made a living working in Havana's tourist industry.

BORDERS

Originality can come easily to a desperate mind that is in need of a new life. The unthinkable becomes a reality and a method of survival. This project shows true stories of people around the world who have crossed borders in very unique ways. After 3 months of research and pre-production, many stories where gathered. These stories where re-created and presented as individual images. The images are captured in a large white background.

Ire con Yemaya

Offering to the Goddess of the Sea or go with Yemaya Being In Cuba the Sea is a beautiful woman, black Virgin Mary carrying a baby drinks a known target for the Virgin of Regla in the Catholic religion and syncretio by believers in Santeria or Regla de Ocha as Yemaya.

In Cuba the relationship with the sea is very strong. The Malecón realize that the sea takes the role of great guru for those who at some point need advice or just need a place to expand your horizons affairs.
