1. The Republic of Rose Island was a short-lived new country project built on a 400 square meter man-made platform in the Adriatic Sea, approximately eleven kilometres off the coast of Rimini, Italy.
2. Sealand, an abandoned WWII platform in the North Sea.
3. Ladonia, proclaimed a micronation in 1996 as the result of a years-long court battle between artist
Lars Vilks and the Sweedish government.
