Water

Eroded wood sticks

I collect wood sticks eroded with water. Walking through the lake’s coast of Tierra del Fuego, observing, searching and founding shapes and textures. They remember me the silence process of nature, the pass of time. The water as balm. Looking at them takes me to that moment. I keep them as a talisman.

The Salton Sea, California's first climate victim

A desert landscape; abandoned crumbling hotels; dry swimming pools; dead palm trees; a salty lake with white salt-crusted beaches and dead fish. Welcome to the Salton Sea, an apocalyptic place in the forgotten southeast corner of California. The Salton Sea is one of the first victims of climate change. The Red Ball

I once walked down to the sea, when upon chance a red ball fell at my feet. I looked for it's owner to no avail, I ignored it and walked on. I must have got another ten paces when my feet got tangled up, looking down I could see the culprit, again the red ball was there. It seemed to be following my path in the breeze. I picked up the ball and took it down to the shore , where I threw it about and took several pictures while the sun was setting. When I was done I gave the ball to a small boy who had been admiring it for his own.

Zushi Beach Japan

It's the summer so it's time to head to one of the beaches not too far out side of Tokyo. People jump on trains, crowd into cars, and make there way past Yokohama out to Zushi Beach. A quiet little town, that every summer becomes packed with Tokyo refugees seeking a escape from the scorching concrete jungle that is Tokyo.

World's Cheapest Scuba Lessons

I took this picture on my first trip to the Honduran island Utila, at the time known for the cheapest place in the world to get your scuba diving license. It was scattered with locals whose original ancestors were British colonizers, Dutch Pirates, and Payan Indigenous peoples to name a few. Restaurants, cafes, and a woman making Baleadas at small kiosk lined the main street. By the time I made my way back to the island, 6 years later, it seemed that the Island had been re-colonized again by all of blond haired Europe and Australia.
