Cambodian sunrise dancers

Every morning at sunrise, while you and I are sleeping, hundreds of Cambodians are dancing. Not in clubs or bars, but in an abandoned olympic stadium. Disco beats are booming, fruit venders are roaming, and tribes of people are following their dance leaders. Every dance leader (imagine young Asian Richard Simmons) choreograph their own moves for the groups - from hip hop, to sword dancing, to "arabic" dancing (how locals say "aerobic"), the Cambodians are groovin and movin. To get a sense of the quirkyness - check out this video by Vinh Dao. He's made a slide show to some AMAZING 1960s Cambodian music. Don't miss the grandma's with swords at 39 seconds.
