Portrait: merchant marine

My relationship with the sea comes to me since I was little. My father was merchant marine captain and I have always had a very direct relationship with the sea, I know make sailors knots, which is starboard and where is the ship's keel. For me the sea is a large expanse of water roads, my father was a “trucker” in the sea, he carrying goods from one place to another and that was the source of life for everyone in my family. As the profession of marine is one of the hardest, my father not want their children to children be devoted to sail the seas as he, and so he took us on board to me and my brother with my mother. Since we were young we lived on a boat, we have experienced storms and tempests, with waves that passed over the ship, giving the feeling that swallowed it. All this for me and my brother was a game and we ran around the ship, while the storm rolled in. All these experiences have made him not afraid of anything in life and I have come much closer to the sea, takes about. So when I imagine the sea, I can not forget to seafarers who work at sea and immediately come to mind images of sailors. Here I present a picture of a illustration that I think about what it is for me the sea and the sea for me is a fluid path that connects us with the rest of the world.
