Among: Italian coast

Among is a documentary project concerning 1200 km of Italian coast subjected to a worrying amount of sea erosion due to over-development. Regional authorities have set up monitoring programmes with satellite imaging and other scientific methods in order to control the situation. My project concerns the beach in my home town where the sea road has been completely submerged. Starting with this fascinating location, I became increasingly interested in the phenomenon of erosion and its consequences on the marine system while working in parallel on the position of the limits between things like earth and sea and day and night.
