Fed up with the way people have navigated the seas by isolating themselves and combating the elements, an innovative team of forty people have come together to imagine a new way of living with the sea. Instead of hulking ships and oil platforms, Open Sailing relies on a set of customizable, modular units that link up and change their configuration according to the weather. Instead of bringing along their fuel, Open Sailing harnesses the energy of the waves, the sun and the wind.
