Cute Boys Make Me Nervous is a project initially started as an experiment in breaking walls that separate people in semi-public spaces. Using the alibi of the street-fashion website, now an accepted and understood part of youth culture, people are invited to approach boys they want to talk to. The project chronicles the terrifying nature of non-computer assisted interactions among young people today. The site is now popular with teens from around the world from Singapore to Kuwait to Australia to Brooklyn who send in pictures along with their tales of Real Life (!) social interactions. Visit
